This document was created at the outset of the Pandemic in Feb 2020. COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 COVID-19 is now a pandemic affecting many countries globally.

It has subsequently been confirmed that COVID-19 is spread primarily from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth, expelled when a person with COVID19 coughs or sneezes. People can catch COVID-19 if they breathe in these droplets, or by touching objects or surfaces where the droplets have landed, then their face.

The time between infection and first symptoms (incubation period) ranges from 1 to 14 days, with an average of 5 to 6 days. More than 97% of people experience symptoms within 14 days.nsert content here

This document outlines our initial approach, the three phases needed to manage the ever-changing needs and the support and training given to our operatives and clients.

COVID-19 Policy:

The Policy is as a result of the measures put in place and our approach to the pandemic. We already have a pandemic policy in place, and this proved be effective at the outset of the outbreak. Our approach has been enhanced by the specifics of our COVID-19 Policy.

Over a year later, and as the measures have changed, we have produced additional documents in support of our Policy, and to detail best practice.
